Several of our rescues are at capacity and have many, many more hermit crabs in need of a new home.

    How can you help?

Apply to become an Adopter, Foster or Transport Assistant

A minimum standard of care must be observed in order to be approved. We will work with you to improve anything that is not up to standard to help you get approved. We do require adopters to be at least 18 years old.

Can’t adopt, foster or transport? Spread the word!
Share our adoptions facebook page and help us reach more potential adopters:

Check this thread for photos of adoptees 🙂

Mary Milhorn is our Adoption Goddess and she works closely with our largest rescuers Missy and Mike Vukoder

During warm months hermit crabs can be shipped overnight to their new home.

Hello! I have recently applied to be approved for adoption. I would like to know how long the process takes to be a approved?

How long it takes to get an approval notice depends entirely on how many applications there are to go through. I hope by now you have heard something.
