I have for crabbies down under and two have been down for over 2 months, I can see them from the bottom of the tank and moving a little. How long should molting go on. Is there a time that is two long? No bad smell coming from the tank. Two others been down for a month at least. Should I be worried?

Great news, just checked the tank for the night and Gracie has emerged. She looks great and boy she looks like she has grown and needs a bigger shell. Plenty for her to pick from. Took her 7 weeks to molt, but looks great.

Another Gracie update, this morning she was in the food dish and in a brand new shell. She looks great. I have to get a picture of her.

LOL She’s just been messing with you! Glad she surfaced though.
If they are still moving down there you will have to just let them be until they are ready to come up.

More great news, just checked the crab tank for the night about 20 minutes ago and Casper has emerged from his molt. He looks good and is already on the choya wood face to face with Lucy. My 2nd successful molt.
Now just waiting for Tank and Two-tone to make back to the surface. I think Two-tone will be up in another week. Not sure yet about Tank.

I am so happy with two molt going well. Casper is so handsome.
