Humidity is so vital to hermit crabs! It’s not even just about helping them breathe. It also aids them in finding the ocean, locating food and even shells. This brief article discusses the importance of humidity. We have some additional scientific research papers regarding the olfaction of hermit crabs, click PDJ library in the menu above to access the files. Very interesting stuff if you are so inclined.
Thanks Stacy for the great read, very interesting.
