Been away from the site for a long time but decided to venture back inside (had to re-register). Glad to see the greatly-expanded safe food list, amazing to see so many wild animals on the list, such as bison and elk. I have some Moose burger in the freezer, I wonder if they’d like it.

Moved from Massachusetts to Wyoming and almost didn’t bring the crabs along for fear of how dry it is up here in the high desert. Glad I did. As long as I wet down their tank every other day or so, they seem to be doing ok.

Anyway, I have a couple of sunflower bushes in my front yard and at the end of the summer I plucked a few of the flowers and tossed them into the crab tank. I was amazed at how the crabs reacted to them. They practically attacked and devoured the flowers. I’m planning to grow some live spinach and plant it in their tank this spring, hopefully it will grow fast enough that they can’t eat it faster than it grows.

Rock Springs. There’s at least one pet shop here, but no LHCs sold there, which is a good thing for the crabs I guess. I’d imagine 99.9% of all sold would die from the low humidity. Where did you grow up?
