KeymasterCarol I hope you can watch this video of two of my C. brevimanus fighting over who gets to use the hamster wheel. They are good sized. How big would you say Jonathon is now??
Helps if I post the link 😀

ParticipantOh Stacy, I meant to tell you that I was talking about green sand to Carol! Switching back and forth on my computer today! Glad you saw the post! I had so much to do today, answer emails, the phone, etc. I have been on the computer mostly since I got up.

ParticipantCarol, Jonathan is handsome and awesome. What great pictures. I hope I can succeed just half of your accomplishment. Thank you for sharing.

KeymasterI sent Jon a rather ambitious box of foods to eat, I got a little excited LOL He seems to be loving his greensand!

ParticipantJonathan started eating the greensand right away and the next day spent four hours munching on fresh, new worm castings. He’s been on a diet ever since! Jon and his mom told Stacy how grateful we were to receive such a generous box of sample foods that he’s not had before. Soon he will be sampling some other new goodies!
And thanks, Pam, for your kind words about Jonboy.

ParticipantHey Carol! Great to see you out and about! Its been a while… a long wile. So glad Mr Jonathon is doing well, and such a gorgeous fella!
Crawdaunt celebrated his 20th anniversary with us last month. My crew has grown a bit the last few years, I have 20 crabs now. I’ve often wished that I could give mine that much liberty but in this house, it just wouldn’t be safe. They have been seen hanging out in the dog crate though. 😀

ParticipantOk ladies, I’m in trouble now. His Highness is already upset with me because he can no longer see the tv…but he CAN see my computer monitor and he doesn’t have a hamster wheel!

ParticipantJonathan is so handsome! We’ve only had our little guys since this April, they’re so tiny compared to Jonathan, lol!

ParticipantLove this story, it has inspired me since I first got my crabs 8 years ago. Carol you are such a great example for young people today who get pets and get tired of them. Hopefully this will inspire them to keep them and enjoy a long life with them.

KeymasterAn update on Carol and Jon!
Carol had a procedure and is working on physical therapy so Jon has gone to stay with Local Reps Mike and Missy until Carol is ready for him to return home. Being the wonderfully behaved boy that he is, he wrapped up his latest molt just in time to be picked up for his holiday!Attachments:

ParticipantThank you for sharing this story with us Carol. I am just getting ready to have a couple crabs of my own. I hope that I have the success that you have had with Jonathan. On a side note, my hubby’s name is Jonathan and your crab is the only one that he likes to see pictures of. Most of the time when I show him a crab he rolls his eyes. 🙂 I wish you and Jon all of the best. I hope you continue to share with us.
