I have a purple pincher crab. I’ve noticed in the past week that the tips of his first leg segments are losing their color. At first it was just the tips, but it has moved up and now the bottom half of the segments are white. He also has a few white spots on his large claw. It’s not a sore or fungus. Just a loss of color.
He’s molted many times, but I’ve never noticed this before. Maybe I wasn’t observant. Or is this a sign of a dietary deficiency? He is acting normally. Any thoughts? Thanks.
