Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our store policies.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, personal illness or severe weather shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
We ship First Class, Ground Advantage or Priority depending on the weight of your order. Any package over 13 ounces must be sent Priority. Delivery is typically 2-4 days.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur. Once your package has left our hands we have no control over what happens to it.

USPS included insurance

  • Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express: Typically includes $100 in coverage automatically 
  • USPS Ground Advantage: Includes up to $100 in coverage 

If your package is lost, stolen or damaged it is your responsibility to file a claim with the USPS for a refund. If you need a copy of your invoice please contact us: cr***************@gm***.com

Media mail does not include insurance.

USPS Media Mail typically takes 2–8 business days to deliver, but it can take longer depending on the destination and the time of year: 

  • Delivery time: Media Mail is slower than other USPS services, like Priority Mail or First Class Mail, which take 1–3 days or 2–7 days, respectively. 
  • Destination: Packages may take longer to arrive in or from Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. 
  • Holiday season: Packages may take longer to arrive during the busy holiday season. 

Media Mail is a cost-effective way to ship eligible books, media, and educational materials. However, it’s important to note that Media Mail packages are subject to opening and inspection by the Postal Service. If the package contains anything that’s not allowed, the recipient may have to pay higher postage rates.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

If you paid for Priority shipping you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email from PayPal once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

The Crab Street Journal Market is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All
fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

The Crab Street Journal is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you
received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

International Shipping Policy

We currently ship to the U.S. only.

Returns Policy

We do not accept returns.

Cancellation Policy

We do not accept order cancellations.
